We are a platform that combines online shopping with charity since 2014. Every day, we enable NGOs to reach donors effectively and on a large scale.
Charytatywni.allegro.pl is a simple help mechanism. Simple in responding for all groups of interest - charity organizations, customers and sellers. We help in a way that is natural to us - through online auctions. Thanks to the platform, all type of NGO can collect money on a particular charity goal.
From the very beginning, Allegro has been investing in the community and proves that technology can solve social problems. This is one of the pillars of our corporate social responsibility strategy. More than 300 NGOs operate on charytatywni.allegro.pl, which, thanks to the auctions, obtain funds to help their beneficiaries.
How does it work?
Using the Allegro Charytatywni platform is free for both customers and NGOs. We transfer the total income to the organizer's bank account. In 2017 alone, thanks to their commitment, we collected over 11 million PLN.
There are many possibilities for help - you can support both by putting your own items on the selected charity goal and by buying unique items at charity auctions. In some cases, additional forms of direct payments are also available - Virtual moneybox or a quick deposit by PayU.
If you are an active Allegro user, navigating the platform will not cause you any problems, you do not need an additional account.
In four years, we have jointly built an engaged community of clients, companies, organizations and celebrities. This commitment is visible not only during the Allegro auction for the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, but also in charity events, including the Mam Marzenie Foundation, the TVN You Are Not Your Own Foundation, Children's Health Center or the St. Marriage Foundation. We have jointly sold over 2.8 million items!
The idea of social networking organizations also stands out. For the project charytatywni.allegro.pl we received the title of "Benefactors of 2016" in the category "New technologies in social involvement".
